Virtual Resources for our Families
Coping with the new normal…
Quarantine and COVID-19 have placed unique stresses on families across the world, but that is especially true for families with special needs children.
Special Siblings is here for you, and we understand the struggle this new normal presents for everyone in the family. Even as in-person meetings resume, transitions in-person can still be challenging. We will continue to offer a virtual option to each of our meetings for participants to connect remotely.
Please contact via phone (205-568-7919) or email (specialsiblingsbham@gmail.com) for additional support.
Support Group Meetings
We currently offer both virtual (always at 3pm ET/2pm CT) and in-person meetings (currently at 4pm ET in Cary, NC). Our meetings are once a month, and the hybrid option allows participants to connect, no matter the location.
Remember our coping strategies: yoga, tension-relaxation exercises, journaling, deep breathing, movement
